MRTE – TAILER PUMPS FOR FOAM CONCENTRATE TRANSFER

MRTE is specially designed to transfer the foam concentrate stored in a factory to strategic points in the event of a fire. MRTE is available in 2 versions:

  • Decanting and/or filling tanks of the fire vehicles producing foam with the foam concentrate
    Flow rate available 600 or 1000l/min – 10 bars.
  • 2/ Injection of the foam concentrate into an existing pipe fitted with a mechanical mixing device (proportioner)
    Flow rate available 1000l/min – 16 bars.

Characteristics

  • Trailer chassis
    • PTAC 1100kg braked chassis with self-damping axle
    • Adjustable drawbar with NAT076x42 type hitch
    • Reinforced retractable jockey wheel + 4 stabilisers
    • Lights and signage in accordance with the Highway Code
    • Profiled aluminium structure with glued aluminium plate for the upper section and compartments / Marking in accordance with NIT 273
  • Hydraulic power unit
    • JOHNSON PUMP stainless steel volumetric pump with internal gearing
    • LOMBARDINI 27CV or 48CV diesel engine with 29L fuel tank, electric starter with 12V DC battery, water cooling and safety feature on the exhaust
    • Flow rate from 250 to 600l/min at 10 bar (TG GP 86-100) or 250 to 1000l/mn at 10 bar (TG GP 185-125)
    • 12 or 17 bar pressure relief valve to protect the pump if the discharge valves close
    • 1 x 316l stainless steel discharge manifold with 1/4 turn valves, quick-fit pipe unions, flow meter to display the flow rate
    • 1 x 316l stainless steel suction manifold with 1/4 turn valves, quick-fit pipe unions
    • 1 x 1/4 turn valve is installed as a bypass on the pump for standby phases and low flow-rate work
